Homemade Mosquito Spray

How To Make Your Own Homemade Mosquito Spray

INGREDIENTS

12 oz bottle witch hazel
15 drops citronella essential oil (I use a bit more)
15 drops lemon grass oil (I use a bit more)
10 drops peppermint essential oil
10 drops tee tree oil (optional)
A funnel
An empty spray container
An empty mixing jar to mix the contents in

DIRECTIONS:

Pour witch hazel in the mixing jar and add the essential oils. Shake well and place in your spray bottles using a funnel, is the best way.
Before each use just shake up a bit. Make sure you don't get any in your eyes and when using for your kids just place a little bit over a small area to make sure they are not allergic to any of the essential oils.

Tornado App

There is a app for that

I was on my way home yesterday from work when I heard about this Tornado app for the smart phone,

People who have smart phones can carry a complete severe weather alert system wherever they go. The American Red Cross has released its Tornado App for smartphones. Besides warning people in the path of a tornado, it can also turn a phone into a survival tool. The app can use the camera flash and a siren to guide rescue workers to trapped storm victims. It can also let friends and family know the cell phone owner is safe. By linking the user with an "I’m safe" button, a person can sending it out to social media, text messages, and email. The free app is available for iPad, iPhone, and Android phones. You can also add other apps including first aid, hurricane, and wildfire alerts.
